🚨 School Closure – Important Notice 🚨

Due to a failure with the school heating system and the expected icy road conditions tomorrow, the school will be closed.

The safety of our pupils, families, and staff is our priority.
We therefore ask that children do not attend school tomorrow.

At present, school is expected to reopen on Wednesday 7th January, unless we advise you otherwise.

Last Friday was Clawton's Toddler Group end of term trip.

They all met at the beach and went on a scavenger hunt collecting lots of resources to make a beach picture. Once collected, they stuck them onto a canvas. After that, they all went and played on the pirate ship 🛳️ and then went onto having lunch.

They all had the best day 🤩

Yesterday, the children who have been learning musical instruments with our peripatetic music teacher performed in front of the school and their family and friends. It was a beautiful concert with the children all demonstrating courage and determination. Some of the children had only been learning for just over a month - what an achievement! The rounds of applause that were given definitely reflected how impressed the other children in the school were!

At toddlers we continued the pirate theme and made our very own snack creating pirate faces.

Hedgehog class enjoyed their pond dipping activity at Beer Mill. They found a frog, water stick insects, water boatman’s and lots of dragon-fly larvae. They also had fun making grass boats for a race across the pond! The children demonstrated fantastic cooperation, patience and care.
