Delighted to share that our Low Carbon Technology Training Centre has won the Regeneration & Conservation Award at the 2026 Constructing Excellence Midlands Awards 🎉

This project transformed a series of Grade II Listed stable buildings into a high-performance Low Carbon Technology Training Centre for Holme Lacy College, showing how historic buildings can be adapted for the future without losing their character.

As well as achieving exceptional environmental performance (the first Listed Building to be AECB Carbonlite Retrofit certified), the Centre is now being used to train the next generation of installers in low-carbon technologies, helping to address one of the biggest challenges facing the built environment.

Huge congratulations also to YNGR Design Ltd, G.P. Thomas Construction, FOLD Consulting Engineers Ltd and Greengauge Building Energy Consultants on this one.

Our Low Carbon Technology Training Centre at Holme Lacy has been shortlisted for TWO West Midlands Constructing Excellence Awards:
