Striding Edge in the Lake District is perhaps the best example of an arête in England, and one of our favourite places!

Summit Tuition specialises in geography tuition at KS3 and GCSE, with a focus on exciting case studies - like Striding Edge. With autumn term just over a week away, Summit Tuition has only got a limited number of 1-to-1 slots left available.

We can offer the following autumn sessions in the Wigan and Leigh area:

- Preparing for the 11+ and December entrance exams. An 8 week block aimed at year 6 pupils, with a focus on the Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning papers.
- Starting out with Secondary Geography. A 6 week refresher for new year 7 pupils with a focus on continents, oceans, UK geography and using Ordnance Survey maps with confidence.
- Starting out with GCSE Geography. A refresher course for new year 9 or 10 pupils starting their GCSEs with a focus on mastering the geographic skills necessary to succeed in the subject, including interpreting OS maps, interpreting graphs and data and answering 6 and 9 mark questions. Suitable for both AQA and Edexcel pupils.

Places are limited, with only Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening slots left available. Please DM for further information.
