Today we visited the Sacred Heart Church in Droitwich for a fascinating church tour and a mosaic-making workshop.

We enjoyed learning about the history and features of the church, and it was wonderful to get creative by designing and making our own mosaics. Thank you to everyone who made the visit so welcoming and enjoyable.

A memorable day of learning, creativity, and community!

What a fantastic afternoon at Himbleton Sports Day!

All of the children took part with such enthusiasm, determination and sportsmanship, and we couldn't be prouder of their efforts. It was wonderful to see everyone cheering each other on and enjoying the event together.

Well done to all of our houses – Oak, Ash and Elm – for their fantastic effort and teamwork throughout the day. An extra special well done to Ash House, our overall winners! 🏆🌟

A huge thank you to Delta Sports Coaching for organising such a fantastic event and helping to make it such a memorable occasion for our children.

Also, a big thank you to friends for selling ice-creams and posh squash!

Year 4 have embraced the challenge of their Bikeability training this morning! 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️

So far, they have learned how to carry out basic bike safety checks, understand the importance of wearing a helmet, and practise safe and effective braking techniques.

The children have shown fantastic enthusiasm and a positive attitude throughout the session. Well done, Year 4 – keep up the great work!

Upper key stage 2 non-chronological report writing.

Children in Upper Key Stage 2 have been
working hard on their non-chronological
reports, choosing topics such as an animal, a
sport or hobby, or a historical event. They
showed great enthusiasm during the research
process and took pride in presenting their work
in an engaging and informative way using
organisational and language features such as
clear headings, structured paragraphs and
topic-specific vocabulary. The quality of work
has been fantastic and we are extremely proud
of the effort and creativity shown by all. Well
done, Year 5 and Year 6!

Early Years Go on a Bear Hunt!

In EYFS this week, the children have been
enjoying the much-loved book, We’re Going on
a Bear Hunt. They have listened carefully to
the story and joined in with great enthusiasm
before demonstrating their fine motor control
whilst creating some wonderful bear paintings,
showing lots of style and imagination.
