WEEKLY ROUNDUP ⭐️

To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, is one of the texts studied in Grade 9 English Language and Literature. The English Department took out students to Wyndham’s Theatre in London to a live performance 🎭

The trip was an excellent opportunity to see this influential novel brought to life on stage, and to soak up the atmosphere of one of London’s leading West End theatres! Harsh content is being followed up in class discussions, and the trip has kick-started our first unit: Identity and Belonging: Negotiating Spaces, where students consider how writers use their works to explore the relationship between humans and their physical and social environments ✍️

Grade 6 have kicked off their “Grade 6 Project” where they can explore topics of interest, set goals, learn to plan, conduct research and put together a meaningful response. A wonderful way of encouraging collaboration and deep thinking which will support them in grades to come 📝

🚨Hot of the press

Two perfect scores. One exceptional Class of 2026. 🎓

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate two 45/45 IB Diploma scores at ACS Hillingdon, the maximum possible score, achieved by both our Valedictorian, Ryan, and Salutatorian, Rudra.

And the achievements continue: 40% of our graduating class achieved 40+ points, with our students heading on to leading universities including LSE, UCL, Imperial and King’s College London.

These results represent far more than numbers, they reflect curiosity, resilience, ambition and two years of extraordinary commitment.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026. We can’t wait to see where you go next. 🌍

FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL ROUNDUP 🩵

Our youngest student Charlotte and oldest student Emanuel side by side! 🥺 This is one for the books! 🦋

We started off our first day of school with a BANG! 💥

Grade 12 students headed over to Pavilions to spend the afternoon with our youngest learners, getting to know them and playing out in the sunshine. It was an opportunity for them to reinforce the idea of community and learn more about who our youngest students are and what they enjoy!

Beautiful moments all around 🩵



🤝 At our first all school assembly, Pre-K and K students walked hand in hand with our eldest students, donning big smiles and backpacks 🎒🤗

This is a wonderful reminder that all our students belong and foster an environment of support and community 🙌



🎮🧩 Coding and Game Design

Our older students are already 3D modelling and coding, demonstrating some very technical skill and precision while also using creative expression in their game design! 👾



☔️ While many of our students were keeping dry indoors, our youngest learners, aged 3-5, made the most of our outdoor playground and had some fun! ✨

🙌 As it’s week one, Grade 4 did some Friday Fun team building activities to get to know one another including their new students through healthy competition! 🏆

Rudra has achieved an exceptional set of IB results, a score achieved by fewer than 1% worldwide, and his hard work and ambition are now taking him to LSE to study Politics and Economics 🎓

With A-level Results Day approaching, it’s a timely opportunity to look at how different curricula prepare students not only for university, but for life beyond it.

Earlier this year, we worked with IBSCA on our latest University Admissions Officers Report, and the findings were clear: 69% rated the IB Diploma as the best curriculum for preparing students to thrive at university.

With 44% of ACS Hillingdon students scoring 38+ out of 45 (over A*A*A* at A-level) in 2026, our students have a significant headstart (23%) over their A-level peers upon entering university.
