🌟LIMITED AVAILABILITY FOR MATHS TUITION SLOTS🌟

My timetable for this term is filling up quickly, so if you’d like to know more about the support I could offer your child please do get in touch.

My group availability is as follows:

Year 6 - Saturdays 9:30-10.15am - 2 spaces
Year 7 - Wednesdays 5-5.45pm - 2 spaces
GCSE Foundation - day/time to be confirmed - 3 spaces
GCSE Higher - day/time to be confirmed- 4 spaces

I also have some daytime availability for home-educated students and limited after-school/saturday availability for 1:1 tuition.

Sessions are focussed on building confidence and enjoyment, identifying and closing learning gaps, problem-solving and understanding how to interpret exam questions.

It’s been a very busy summer, but my new tutoring room is now complete 😊 I’m so happy with how it’s come together and how cosy it feels.

I’ve loved welcoming back my first few students this week and am really excited to welcome back the rest of my learners next week.

⭐️ROOTS TO RESULTS IS ONE!⭐️

I honestly don’t know where that time has gone, and I’m not sure I can quite put into words what this little business means to me. 🌱

A year ago, following many years of tutoring the odd student for their GCSE alongside my day job, I took a big leap of faith and started Roots to Results. With no students to begin with I signed up for a little tutoring space and started my business social media pages. I had no idea where it would take me, how many children I would work with, or how much I would grow both personally and professionally along the way.
There have definitely been moments of doubt and plenty of things to figure out as I’ve gone along, but looking back now, I feel incredibly proud of what I’ve built. ❤️

The best part has been the children. Seeing a child who once said “I can’t do it” suddenly realise they can. Watching confidence grow, celebrating those little lightbulb moments, seeing exam results come in and knowing I’ve played even a small part in their journey — that’s why I do what I do. 🥰📚

I’m so incredibly grateful to every family who has trusted me with their children this year. Thank you for believing in me, recommending me to friends and family, sharing my posts and supporting my business. Thank you also to all my friends and family for the encouragement and support, passing on my name and liking and sharing my posts. It genuinely means the world. ❤️

And now, as I celebrate one year, I’m also starting my next chapter with a new, more central home for Roots to Results at Highbridge Enterprise Centre, giving me the opportunity to offer more sessions and, importantly, more small-group tutoring. 🎉

When I started this a year ago, I never imagined I’d be where I am now, and I’m so excited to see where the next year takes us.
From little roots come big results. 🌱✨

I’m offering small-group face-to-face GCSE Maths tutoring sessions designed to help students:

✅ Strengthen key GCSE topics
✅ Practise exam-style questions
✅ Develop effective exam techniques
✅ Get support in a friendly, encouraging environment

Small groups mean students can ask questions, get individual attention and learn alongside others at a similar level.

Whether your child is aiming to improve their confidence, boost their grades, or simply wants some extra support alongside school, these sessions can help.

Sessions are held at my tutoring hub at Highbridge Enterprise Centre, Bennett Way, Highbridge TA9 4AL.

With tomorrow being GCSE results day, I just wanted to wish all of my GCSE students from this year the very best of luck 🍀

However it goes for you all, please remember that you are not defined by a number on a slip of paper. Achievement is not just a grade. True achievement is hard work, growth, increased confidence, progress and attitude and I’ve been proud to see these qualities in all of you and am honoured to have been a part of your journeys. Regardless of the number on the paper tomorrow, every one of you deserves to feel so proud of yourself for your hard work and dedication 🌟

✨Year 6 Maths Small Group Tuition✨

Is your child about to start Year 6? Would you like to give them a confidence boost in their maths as they begin to prepare for SATs and the move to secondary school?

I’m a qualified teacher offering small group maths tuition designed to build confidence and strengthen key skills.

Sessions focus on:
➕ Arithmetic fluency
📊 Fractions, decimals & percentages
📐 Reasoning and problem solving
📝 SATs-style questions and exam techniques
💡 Building confidence and reducing maths anxiety

Maximum of 4 per group. Big enough for collaboration, discussion and fun but small enough to ensure one-to-one attention and personalised support.

Spaces available on Wednesdays from 4-4.45pm or Saturday mornings - time to be confirmed. (If you book with a friend I will always endeavour to place them in the same group).

After such a busy day on Friday, transferring everything into my new tutoring hub and starting to set up, it’s now time to relax for the week and spend time with my own crazy little (grown up!) family 🌞
