Churchfield School and Nursery

The Choir entered three categories at Highbridge Festival recently singing 2 Contrasting Songs of Worship and 2 Songs in Unison where we were lucky enough to win Gold and Two songs on a common theme where we got silver.

I loved singing. I was nervous but I'm glad I got to take part in Highbridge Festival. I'm proud of myself. - Isla

When I was at the Highbridge Festival so many times I could not believe we got gold. It was as fun as my birthday party or meeting the king. I hated when we got silver but at least it's not bronze. In the last competition my eyes could have popped out of my head, I thought we were going to get silver let alone gold! If our school had all five of our medals gold I would have fainted. Every time we got gold we cheered so wildly with enthusiasm I think we could have broken a window! I wonder how angry and disappointed the schools were for being bronze and not gold? - Sara

I felt very excited about to sing with other choirs. Thank you for taking me to the Highbridge Festival. I really enjoyed it. - Annabelle
