What a fantastic art lesson Year 1 had! Combining music and drawing, the children had to mark-make and draw what came into their heads when they listened to the music; Flight of the Bumblebee, Hail of the Mountain King and Spring.

Imagine their delight when Miss Davis unfurled the HUGE roll of paper!

Well done, Year 1. What creative students we have here at Widmer.

Happy 70th Birthday to Bea (Mrs Keen), one of our wonderful Midday Supervisers!

Bea has worked at Widmer End for 6 years, she is such a valuable member of our staff team. Bea ensures all children have their correct lunch, whether that be hot or cold; checks lunchboxes for our healthy eating champions; rewards the best behaved tables during the dining service; keeps the kitchen spotless and does it all with a big smile every day!

We are very lucky to have such an amazing staff team at Widmer End, it really shows in our relationships with the children, parents and each other.
