Counselling, Self-Employed and Employed Job Opportunities at DTS UK: Art Therapist and Play Therapist
Dynamic Therapeutic Solutions UK is recruiting for two self-employed roles within a specialist education provision for children aged 4–16 with complex social, emotional, and/or mental health or medical needs, which have prevented them from successfully engaging with or attending school. The school is located in Melksham, Wiltshire.
We are hiring for the following positions:
* Art Therapist – 1 day per week (term time only)
* Play Therapist – 1 day per week (term time only)
Each position is for one day per week during term time (38 weeks per year).

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one therapy services
* Uphold professional and ethical standards in all therapeutic practices
* Participate in regular professional supervision and ongoing support

Requirements:
* Degree or diploma in Art Therapy (for Art Therapist role)
* Degree or diploma in Counselling or Play Therapy (for Play Therapist role)
* Registration with an appropriate national body
* Personal indemnity insurance
* Transferable DBS registered with the Update Service
* Final-stage trainees will be considered

Salary:
Competitive, based on experience.

We are not great at putting too much content on here, but want to introduce our newest member of the team Sylivia, I asked if she would do a little write up for our social media and here is what she has to say about working for us,

I have been with DTS since September, I have found Sarah D and Sarah C both to be helpful, organised, professional and always available.
I really am enjoying my role as Art Therapist. They have placed me in a school that suits me and fits in with my character.
I feel it is a position that gives me lots of scope for growth and development, and above all makes me love my job, and the people I work with.
