Established in 1976 by one of Wirral's most experienced dance teachers, Barbara Simons, BSSD is located at Heswall Lawn Tennis Club, Quarry Road East.

***NEW TERM STARTS SATURDAY 10th SEPTEMBER!!*** Barbara Simons School of dance has been operating in Heswall for 38 years and many pupils have gone on to perform professionally or become qualified dance teachers with schools of their own. BSSD are always working hard towards either a performance at the Floral Pavilion or examinations. Barbara is an examiner with the ISTD and her staff are also qualified to the highest standards. They offer classes on all aspects of dance and drama for all ages and abilities. They specialise in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, National Dance, Disco, Musical Theatre, Ballroom, Latin American, Irish, Drama & Singing.

What a great way to celebrate International Women's Day, by thanking all of the incredible women and girls who gave up their time to help make yesterday's Golden Anniversary Showcase possible!

Thanks, of course to EVERYONE who played their part in the day in some way, your support is truly appreciated and we hope you all had as much fun as we did!

🤩A huge thank you for your donations to the BBC Children in Need appeal! We raised a great sum AND had fun with everyone rising to their 'Challenge 25'!! Juniors and younger seniors all balanced for at least 25 seconds at a time in a game of extreme musical statues, while our seniors fought off the dizziness to complete 25 non-stop pirouettes!!Fantastic effort, everyone!! 🥰
