Wow, I’ve been in a Quest-sized hole since Friday evening…
I’ve briefly come out to share some reassurance because I know a lot of parents are feeling unsettled.

The biggest takeaway?
There is far more overlap than difference. The core skills your children have been building are still exactly what they need to be ✅

So far I’ve been going through question types, comparing them to GL, and adapting plans where needed — and I can confidently say: nothing has been wasted.

In fact, for some children, this change could even be a positive step forward.

✔️ We’ve got time.
✔️ We’ve got a plan.
✔️ And most importantly, the children are already on the right track.

Time for me to go back into the Quest hole 👀

It’s been an incredibly busy period, with my Monday sessions and Lower KS2 group now fully booked.⁣

I do, however, have 2 places available in my Upper KS2 maths group. These sessions are ideal for pupils looking to gain a strong boost ahead of summer or to secure a place in preparation for September. ⁣

Thank you so much for all the support in 2025!

It’s hard to believe that at the start of the year LÄRA Tutoring didn’t exist, and now there’s only 1 space left in the Upper KS2 Maths group.

Watching children set goals, grow in confidence, and work towards reaching their full potential has been so rewarding.

Feeling incredibly lucky, grateful, and really excited to see what 2026 brings 💛📚✨

👩🏼‍🏫 I keep groups small so every child gets the attention they need - and I never oversubscribe. This way, your child gets maximum support, personalised guidance, and the best chance to shine in their 11+ exams.

✨ It’s been a little quiet on here lately… but only because we’ve been so busy learning and having fun at LÄRA! Here’s a little peek at what we’ve been up to 📚💡

🍵 KS1 Tea Party – We weighed sweets for our guests, measured drinks, decided what to wear at different temperatures and used rulers to accurately set our table! 🍬🍰

🎨 Play-dough Angles – We got creative with our geometry skills, using play-dough to make different angle types! 📐

💬 Minions & Gru Sentence Types – With a little help from Gru and his mischievous Minions, we mastered the 4 sentence types (It turns out Minions are very expressive!). 🍌
