🎹 Four years old and only her third lesson!

After a three-week break, we wondered how much our youngest little pianist would remember. The answer was… quite a lot!

She remembered her note values and the first three notes she had learned: C, D and E. We made up some words together and then played them on the piano.

At this age, learning is playful, relaxed and full of imagination - but the amount young children can absorb and remember is quite amazing.

Such a lovely morning and a very proud moment! 🎶💛

🎹 **One of those moments that reminds us why we love teaching...**

One of our adult students started learning piano so she could better support her son with his own musical journey.

She told us something really special this morning.

She usually practises wearing headphones so she doesn't distract her children while they're playing. But today, the children were happily occupied, so she decided to play without them.

A few minutes later, her six-year-old proudly showed her a secret video he had recorded.

His verdict?

*"Mummy, you sound so good... you're amazing!"* ❤️

Children really do notice our efforts, and sometimes the greatest encouragement comes from the people we least expect.

It's never too late to learn something new. You never know who you might inspire along the way. 🎵

🎹 What a lovely summer it has been!

Our summer piano school has been such a success, with wonderful interest from children and grown-ups alike. It’s been a real pleasure welcoming so many new faces and seeing them realise they are making music!

Although our summer school is coming to an end, you don’t have to wait until September term to get started, we’re still welcoming new students now.

Twenty minutes later: still at the piano. 😄

We love seeing teenagers become completely absorbed in their music. In a busy world of school, screens and endless distractions, the piano can offer something special – a chance to slow down, focus and enjoy being completely in the moment.

And if “one more time” becomes ten more times? We’ll call that enthusiasm! 🎶💛
