We value stepping back and carefully observing how children maintain high levels of engagement, when they explore and investigate for themselves.🕵️

Block play is an integral part of our provision. It supports so many areas of learning and allows children to work creatively together. Look at what these friends constructed together heart ❤️

At our nursery, independence is one of our core values.
For our older children, this means taking responsibility after mealtimes by washing and drying their own plates.
This isn’t something children just pick up by accident. We carefully teach and support these skills every step of the way. Our educators model what to do, give clear guidance, and gently encourage children as they practise, helping them grow in confidence over time.
We are so proud of their progress.

Today in Robins, we explored AB repeating patterns.
We learnt how patterns work by noticing and repeating simple sequences, such as red square, blue circle, red square, blue circle, and used shapes as well as colours to make our patterns. With support from our educators, the children had a go at creating their own patterns using a range of resources.
Some children were ready for a further pattern challenge, extending beyond AB repetition by creating ABC patterns, alternating sizes, or combining colour and shape rules.
