FT: v. Canon Pyon (Girls Football)

A fantastic start to our football season with the Burghill Buzzards getting a really positive win at Canon Pyon in our girls-only fixture of the Meadow Championship. Some fantastic performances across the pitch and great teamwork with a half-time team huddle suggested by the girls too. Well done everyone!

Our KS2 pupils who were in Sycamore this afternoon had a fantastic time learning some Brazilian ju-jitsu as part of their 'Brilliant Brazil' mini-topic, celebrating the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027 host nation. A big thank you to Dave from Hereford Combat Academy: Karate & Kickboxing for teaching the children and bringing lots of smiles to their faces.
