Today, in Puma class we put our DT skills to the test by making our very own Eton Mess! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

We loved getting hands-on and most importantly, we absolutely loved eating it! 😋🍓

What a tasty way to put our DT learning into practice! ❤️

Today in science, Year 6 have been looking at the blood that is pumped around our bodies, and what the different components are that make up our blood. 🩸 We were fascinated, so, we made our own. 🧛‍♂️
Using different liquids to represent: red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets and plasma the children created their own. We even got to taste it. 😋

One of our lovely Volunteers is on holiday in Canada and has sent in these lovely photos. Lots of Sea Otters in a calm bay.

Thought I would share with you all to, hopefully, make you smile like it did me!

After 25 years of dedication to Broadlands Primary School we say goodbye to Mrs Young on Friday 25th September.

Over those 25 Years Mrs Young has worked alongside a vast number of children and families and has been a real asset. We are going to miss her very much, like many families present and in the past.

We thank her for everything she has done and wish her well in her next adventure.
