Mint perfume ๐ One little flock brought in some fresh mint to share with her friends, we all had a good sniff and decided we loved the smell, so we thoughtโฆ why not make our very own little pots of mint perfume!
We carefully picked and tore the tiny mint leaves, using our fine motor skills and strengthening those little fingers, before using tools too squish the leaves to release their beautiful scent.
Then we added water to our perfume pots using droppers. A great activity for developing hand-eye coordination, concentration and control, as well as exploring cause and effect.
A simple idea sparked by one little flock, turned into a lovely sensory experience for us all! ๐ฟ
