This is a great article. Languages have given me confidence, communication skills, analytical skills and some amazing opportunities.
Google translate and AI tools are just not the same. It's not immersion into a different culture and language, and that's where the magic lies.

Fancy brushing up your French conversation? Come and join us at the Heritage rooms in Heighington!
When? First Friday of the month 1pm - 3pm.
Where? Thomas Garrett Heritage Rooms, Heighington, LN4 1RS.
Who? These sessions are for intermediate to advanced learners of French, who want to improve conversational skills.
What? A text or news article will be sent to learners each month, and we will base the session aound that. This will include some culture, grammar, vocabulary and listening work, as well as conversation.
How much? £10 per session, pay as you go.
