Scallywags believe that every child is entitled to safe, happy and nurturing environment. Our staff are experienced, fully qualified and Lead members have been running the group for over 15 years. We aim to provide equality and welcome all children and their families. Scallywags committee has adopted the pre-school learning alliance consitution and is registered with ofsted, with a 'good' osfted r
ating. The group is registered on the early years plan to receive nursery education grant funding providing 'free education places' for 3 & 4 year olds, subject to government terms and conditions, and we receive support from the early years development and childcare partnership. We offer care and education for children aged 2 to 5 years in the local community. We offer a curriculum that enables children to progress towards the early learning goals throughout the Foundation Stage and prepares them for the National Curriculum, which begins at Year 1 in primary school.
