Year 5 – Chopwell Woods

This week, year 5 had the pleasure of visiting Chopwell Woods as part of our enrichment. We had a wonderful day, exploring the woods and putting our survival skills to the test! 5 Blue at Chopwell Woods

Year 4 – Renewable energy with Science buddies

Today we had the opportunity to take part in a renewable energy windfarm workshop in conjunction with Doggerbanks Windfarms and Science Buddies. The children learned about the important role windfarms play in our region and learned how they work. The children even designed and created their own wind turbines and looked at which designs would help to generate the most energy.

7 Red trip to the Tim Lamb Centre

An amazing day out at the Tim Lamb Centre 7 Red had a fantastic day, with lots of interesting things to do including, air hockey, trampolining, sensory rooms, indoor soft play, a picnic and two amazing outdoor playgrounds! Even the weather was very kind and stayed dry all day!

1 Blue Are Computing Connoisseurs!

Today in our computing lesson, we have been looking at how to independently log onto a school Chromebook. We used our username and password to log on and then we went onto the canvas app to create our "masterpieces". We explored canvas and learned how to change the colour, change the utensil; and make the lines bigger and smaller. We were so proud of our work as you can see!
