Welcome back! We hope you enjoyed a festive break full of sleep, good food and relaxation. Now it’s time to dig out your tie, find the homework you put somewhere safe, put down the controller and (sadly) say goodbye to the dressing gown.
We’re diving straight back into English:
• Year 7 will be delving into mythology and rhetoric 🏛️
• Year 8 will be plotting, scheming and encountering the supernatural with Macbeth 👑🗡️
• Year 9 will be sharpening their GCSE skills by crafting vivid descriptions ✍️
• Year 10 will continue to be astounded by Utterson’s inability to see the truth, while tackling Paper 2's Question 5 🔍
• Year 11 will despair (again) as both Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet make some truly questionable life choices, alongside revisiting Paper 2 💔
Here’s to a brilliant new term of reading, writing and just a little literary chaos. 📚✨
