TYPICAL!!!!!!!!!!!! With only one week to go until Christmas, everyone at Hackland House is feeling very poorly. 😷🤧
Fortunately for us, Dr T at Hackland Surgery was on hand to make everyone feel better.............. and we thank our lucky stars that we didn't have to wait 37 working days for an appointment!!!🩺💊

Halloween week is so frighteningly amazing!!!

We have been ever so busy with our Halloween tuff tray activities, potion making and a creepy visit from Zoo lab!!!!! 🪱🕷🦎

It takes a tough, brave cookie to be at our nursery on Halloween week....... Have you got what it takes to be part of our crew........

It's Friday.......Also known as Smoothie Day!
We took a walk to the shop to get some fruit for our smoothies.
There was so much fruit to choose from, so we picked strawberries, bananas and pinapple..........ohhhh these smoothies are going to be goooooooood!!!!! 🍍🍓🍌🍍🍓🍌
We were even trusted with money..........pahaaaaaaaaaaaa, we jest, we were sensible and paid the shop keeper for our goods.
We couldn't wait any longer so we quickly went back to the nursery!
We chopped up the fruit, gave it a quick blend and we had it with our lunch... It was super delicious!

Today was Dino day!!!!🦖🦕
We made Jurassic Park…… but without the drama!!!
Our Dinosaurs are loving and kind…..well mostly.
We have been playing with a dinosaur with no eyes……Do-you-think-he-saw-us, 👀
One that made his own house….he used a dinosaw and reptiles on his kitchen floor!!!!!
One of them was fast asleep………he was a dinosnore!!!
One crazy dino was dressed as Harry Potter……..what a dinosorcere
Some of the dinosaurs wanted to play a game with us………Errrrrr! we didn’t want to play SQUASH! One of them kept on and on and on, trying to get us to play………he was a Tri Tri Triceratop!!
As you can tell it was a crazy afternoon!!!!!! 🦕🦖🦕🦖

Hot weather calls for LEMONADE! 🍋🍋
We used all of our mighty strength to squeeze the lemons and used the most precise control to pour the water into our bowls.
We also added a bit of sugar into our bowls and gave it all a super fast whisk so it's all ready to drink!
It was so yummy, exactly what we needed on a summer's day! 🍋🍋

Wow what an afternoon!!!
We had the best day ever when PC Davis came to visit us today, he even allowed us to play in his car...lights, sirens the lot!!!!
We promise that this will be the only time we will sit in a police car!!!!!! 👮‍♂️🚓🚨🚓🚨

Huge thank you to the local attractions that have supported us with their generous donations to help us revamp our role play areas within our setting. We have managed to raise £169 which our pre-schoolers have practically spent already 😂

This week is body week! We have been learning all about the inside and outside of our bodies! We have had X-rays🩻, scans and even lung machines.....at this rate we will be qualified doctors by the end of the week......at least you will not have to wait ages to get an appointment with us 😜
We have even extended our learning with our "Take it home club" So we can help our families know all about the body and maybe...just maybe they can be our student doctors!!!
