Students at Guru Nanak Sikh Academy are celebrating a year of strong academic achievement following the release of the 2026 GCSE results. Demonstrating consistently high standards across a broad and balanced curriculum, the cohort achieved an Attainment 8 score of 56, well above the national average.

Performance in core subjects was particularly strong. In English and Mathematics, 83% of students achieved a standard pass (grade 4 or above), while 62% secured a strong pass (grade 5 or above). Students also performed exceptionally well in the sciences, significantly surpassing national averages at the highest levels. The proportion of students achieving grade 7 or above in individual science subjects was notable:

Chemistry: 85% (Grade 7+)

Biology: 78% (Grade 7+)

Physics: 63% (Grade 7+)

With 66% of students achieving a strong pass (grade 5 and above) in Combined Science

These results reflect the dedication and hard work of our students, supported by our committed teaching staff and the encouragement of parents and carers. 

We are delighted to congratulate all our students on their well-deserved success. This achievement reflects their hard work and dedication, and we look forward to seeing their continued growth and positive impact on society as they move into the next stage of their education and careers. 🌟CELEBRATING SUCCESS AT GURU NANAK SIKH ACADEMY! 🌟

We are delighted to announce another year of outstanding academic achievement! Our students have shown incredible dedication, securing top-tier grades across a wide range of subjects. 📚✨

Highlights from this year’s results include: 

45% of entries achieved A-B* 
75% of entries achieved A-C*
97% overall pass rate!

Our students have shown exceptional performance across diverse academic disciplines. We are particularly proud of the strong results in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Biology, History, Geography, and Punjabi, highlighting their commitment to both academic and vocational success.

A huge congratulations to our students heading off to prestigious universities—including the University of Oxford, City, University of London, University of Liverpool, and University of Birmingham! 🏛️
