Access Kit

Access Kit Durable, reliable, and easy for group leaders to manage/maintain. https://accesskit.co.uk For more details check www.accesskit.co.uk

Expedition tents and camping equipment designed specifically for schools/groups, including Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE), Scouts and outdoor education providers. Access Expedition Kit was founded in 2007 supplying schools and groups with outdoor equipment for DofE and similar expeditions. It became clear that equipment manufacturers were not building kit specifically for group use but rather fo

r the retail market. So we went out to ask group leaders what features they would like to see and how they would like equipment simplified. Out of this the brand Endurance was born, focusing specifically on the needs of groups. Features requested included printed tent poles, single zippers, labeled tent components, sets of coloured rain covers for team identification and youth fit rucksacks that suit even the smallest participants. We guarantee at least 5 years consistent design on our tents so you don't need to worry about incompatible tent parts when you increase your fleet of equipment. We love providing simple solutions for group challenges and excellent value for money.

When you're responsible for a group, every detail matters.

Colour-coding isn't just about organisation. It can make group management quicker and more effective, particularly during remote supervision on expeditions.

The Endurance Team Colour Raincovers are available in 10 distinctive colours, making it easy to identify groups at a glance while helping expedition leaders monitor participants across challenging terrain.

It's a simple idea that can make a real difference when you're leading groups outdoors.

One tent is easy to manage. Nearly 80 is a different story.

When you're organising expedition equipment for schools, Duke of Edinburgh groups, Scouts or outdoor organisations, it's about much more than simply buying tents.

It's about having equipment that's designed specifically for managing groups. Equipment that's reliable, easy to organise and consistent year after year.

That's why the Endurance range has been built around three simple principles:

Simple. Durable. Consistent.

From schools and Scout groups to cadet organisations and expedition providers, Access supplies expedition equipment designed to make managing groups simpler.

“This was the first time I took my drone with me during a DofE training expedition, and these bronze participants were certainly curious to know more about it.

In this picture, they have just finished pitching their Access Kit tents for the first time, and are now being given a reminder about stove safety before going on to cook their dinner.

We were exploring the Ashridge Estate and the surrounding area in the beautiful Chiltern Hills, and were blessed with glorious weather!”

Many expedition leaders have told us their frustrations when it comes to keeping a kit store organised, especially in the heat of expedition season with lots of kit coming and going on a weekly basis.

The unique Group ID tag system found on all components of Endurance kit is a game-changer when it comes to kit management and organisation – check out full details at www.accesskit.co.uk/resources

“So the reason I love Endurance products is that they are built for group use, they are consistent from year-to-year, they are simple for young people to use when on expeditions, and for me they are affordable both in the short and long term.”

When the weather in the Cotswolds has other ideas… love this picture from Chris Horribin of Wildcounty Consultants from March 2018. Chris said: “Bitten by the Beast from the East - an adventure no doubt. Serious bragging rights achieved, but everyone safe and in the process of being evacuated.”

Endurance tents were designed with direct input from expedition leaders and AAPs.
