What a wonderful morning we had on Sunday in the Eisteddfod Genedlaethol y Garreg Las. These wonderful children represented Ysgol y Garn on stage with pupils from school all over Pembrokeshire. A fantastic experience to be part of, either on stage or watching as part of the audience.
A moment to treasure for ever!

We also spotted our bench, beautifully designed and painted by many artistic and creative children. Find it in Pentre Plant - The Children's Area, if you are taking a visit one day this week!

Dosbarth Glas enjoyed baking some sweet treats earlier in the week making maths and reading more fun! But they certainly enjoyed eating them more!

Congratulations to everyone at Roch School on receiving the top award from Eco Schools, the Platinum Award. The pupils on the Eco committee have been fantastic, enthusiastically sharing their passion and care for the environment to inspire whole school action. Every single person at Roch School played an important part and contributed to this brilliant success. Bethan Evan’s~Phillips, Pembrokeshire Eco School officer, was highly impressed by how deeply embedded throughout the entire school. Special thanks go to Eco Dewi and the Darwin Centre for their support and involvement. Well done everyone!

We’re immensely proud of two musically talented pupils who attended the ABRSM Pembrokeshire High Scorers’ Concert on Monday in St.David’s Cathedral.
Pembrokeshire musicians who achieved the highest marks in their exams this year were invited to perform. Theo gained the highest exam mark out of all ABRSM exams taken this year!
A great achievement and experience for them both 🎶
