Lots of calls today with many people saying they don’t have much time to put their appeal in. Remember you only have to provide outline reasons when lodging your appeal. You can then put in your detailed evidence much nearer to the time of your appeal hearing, likely to be May or June.

Here is a tip for your appeal document. Don’t write a one page letter, instead write a detailed report which clearly explains your reasons for wanting the school and has evidence to back those reasons up.

Remember you have 20 days from 1st March to make your appeal but this means you only have to provide basic outline reasons within that time period. With your hearing not likely to be until late April or May, you can then spend that time preparing a far more detailed and evidenced appeal submission.
