Imagine your child showing you a short animation and saying: “I made the characters, and I made them move!” 🎬😊

That’s what children aged 8–10 will explore in our Motion Design course at impact Academies & Camps in Hastings.

Here’s what they’ll actually do:

🎞️ Animate a story in Animatron.
Choose characters and a background, then decide how and when things move—for example, making a character travel across the scene as their story unfolds.

🧱 Build 3D models in MagicaVoxel.
Using little digital cubes, they’ll create characters, build a road and add a car. Think of building with blocks, but on a computer!

🚗 Turn their models into animations.
They’ll create a sequence of images showing changes in movement, then use a GIF or video editor to bring those images together into a short animation.

Along the way, they’ll experiment, adjust their work and see how small changes affect the finished result.

🎓 The course is CPD accredited, with a certificate awarded upon module completion.

Does your child love drawing, choosing colours or making things look just right? 🎨 Imagine them turning those ideas into a brand of their own—from its logo to a design for a coffee cup!

In our Design & Branding course for ages 11–13 at impact Academies & Camps in Hastings, they’ll learn how to:

💡 Plan their brand in Miro — collect ideas, build a mood board and think about who their brand is for.

🎨 Design in Figma — create a logo, choose colours and fonts, and develop designs for printed products.

🖼️ Create in Canva — put together posters and social media graphics that share a consistent style.

They’ll bring their work together in a brand book: a guide showing their logo, colours, fonts and how to use them. Something they can proudly show and explain to you. 😊

🎓 CPD-accredited learning, with a certificate awarded upon module completion.

🤝 Through our Harvard ManageMentor partnership, students also practise planning, problem-solving and presenting their ideas, with a certificate awarded upon completing the relevant learning.

There’s a different kind of pride when your child shows you something they created themselves. 💙

Not another game they downloaded.
Not another video they watched.

A website they built. A Python project they coded. An app, animation or game they can explain and proudly say:

“I made this.”

At Impact Academies & Camps, children aged 5–17 learn real technology skills through an international IT programme adapted to their age and level.
And their progress can lead to recognised achievements too.

🎓 Students in IT Master, IT Senior and IT Expert can complete CPD-accredited learning and receive certification from our International IT Academy.

⭐ For IT Senior students aged 11–13, selected modules also integrate Harvard ManageMentor soft-skills learning, including Time Management and Goal Setting.

So alongside coding, they learn how to organise themselves, plan projects, manage deadlines and take responsibility for completing what they start.

After successfully completing the relevant 3-month module, students can earn the corresponding Harvard certificate, alongside their CPD-accredited certification.

For a parent, it’s not only about the certificate.
