And just like that our autumn theme ended with Halloween 🎃.

We explored the colours , practiced our counting and ended the colour theme with a colour monster book and talking about our feelings .

Just a few pictures from a very busy term. Water play is our favourite! We played with water fountain , frozen dinosaurs and made petal soup. Hook a duck is always a hit 🦆 Kept cool in the woods and visited animals was so much fun . Making cakes and smoothies was a lot of yummy fun too .

The very hungry caterpillar is a favourite in my setting . Last month we explored the life cycle of the caterpillar and had so much fun with the activities and watching out caterpillars grow . They are turning into chrysalis now 😊we can’t wait to see our butterflies 🦋

They say ”time flies when you having fun” I have just realised I haven’t posted for some time ! We have been busy having lots of fun with pancakes, dear zoo , what the ladybird heard themes , making Mother’s Day presents and panting our sunflowers but most of all we have been enjoying the beautiful weather .😊

What a week ! Chinese New Year ! We had an amazing week learning about the traditions and celebrations children enjoyed all the crafts and activities too 😊

We have really enjoyed the arctic animals play and activities . Children loved painting snowy owls by using forks and making their penguins 🐧😊

Children are all settling in back into our routine and enjoying our winter activities.

That’s it for this year ! Children have all been amazing and kept me going through very uncertain times. We made gingerbread house , painted Christmas trees and stars , danced , played explored the frost this morning . Merry Christmas 🎄.

What a busy December we had so far . Lots of Christmas and winter crafts, we made cinnamon play dough , ginger bread house , Pom Pom painting and hand printing our wood slices , Visits to the garden centre and the farm where children enjoyed looking at Christmas decorations and scenes .

Another lovely week , visit to washbrooks farm , childminders club and lots of poppies
