2026 Clipping season is fast approaching!

Reminder of clipping prices as we head into winter:

Full clips - £65

Hunter clip £50

Irish, Blanket clips - £45

Bib clip - £40

●As always I need them bathed the day before please as the grease kills my blades and won't do the machines any favours! There will be a dirty horse charge applied if they are greasy. Please also present your horses dry too! Soggy ponies can't be clipped!

●Multi-horse discount applied for more than 2 horses booked in together from the same yard

Looking forward to seeing all my clipping clients again this season and let the pony haircuts commence🤩

Summer clipping- why do we do it?
Clipping is for welfare! At any time of year, clipping your horse can be a huge help for many health issues as well as just helping our equine friends cope better in the heat!

During the summer the main reasons I am booked for clips are:
● Sweet Itch
● COPD/ breathing troubles
● EMS/ weight managment
● Cushing coats that can't shed by themselves

Black horses are by far my fave colour to clip, the colour contrast from clipped to unclipped makes for the most crisp looking lines 💕

More to come this week, maybe some better photos too😅

A special shout out to Welsh D Harry sporting a short Irish first clip of the year this time, we will be going further back on his belly next time. He has a post of his own a few posts down explaining his desensitisation journey last winter.

What a fabulous few days at Hickstead last week! All 3 horses really settled into the Hickstead groove again as the days went on, Friday and Saturday especially, with double clears all round🤩

Super greatful to be a part of such a wonderful team of horses and people ❤️

Balgaddy Blue doing the 1m, 1.05m and a 1m10

Go Fly doing 1m10 and 1m20

Millfield Constanza doing 1m20 and 1m25

It was such a blast and extra special for the newest partnership of Blythe Britton 's Oakley (Millfield Constanza), who have been a partnership for only 6 months, produced a beautiful double clear in the 1m25 on Saturday afternoon. Very excited to continue to watch these two on their journey together!

Here's to the next! 🎉
