What can you do to prevent the summer slide?

Summer learning loss is a real thing!

Students most certainly benefit from a summer break & it’s a great time to rest, recharge & spend time with friends & family.

However this long break can have a real impact on learning & without regular maths practice students can take between 3-6 weeks in September to just get back to the point they were at in July.

Tonight I delivered the final few sessions to those sitting their last GCSE Maths exam tomorrow. Online & in person, this week it has been hard to say goodbye to you all.

I’ve truly looked forward to every lesson & this year it’s been a pleasure to tutor such a wonderful bunch of young people.

You are our future & from what I’ve seen, there’s a bright road ahead for all of you!

Every one of my students should be proud of what they have achieved this year. You’ve given it your all & studied hard. I have everything crossed for tomorrow & a paper that enables you to showcase how far you’ve come.

Aim Pi Maths has NEW availability on a Saturday for 1 to 1 sessions (either online or in person at our Haslingden Office).

Our limited Saturday availability means students often miss out on a regular session & rely on our ‘wait list’.
