EM6

A huge congratulations to EM6 student Emily for giving up her time to support our Year 6 Destination: EMS events.

Emily is a fantastic role model, inspiring our future students with her enthusiasm, confidence, and passion for sport. Her positive attitude and willingness to share her experiences of school and sport helped make the event a memorable one for everyone involved.

We are incredibly proud of the way Emily represents both English Martyrs Sixth Form and Hartlepool Huskies, demonstrating the leadership, commitment, and community spirit that we value so highly.

👏 Well done, Emily, and thank you for inspiring the next generation of English Martyrs students! 🏀

EM6 Duke of Edinburgh Gold students have been putting in the extra miles as they prepare for their upcoming expedition!

Building teamwork, refining their navigation skills, and taking in the stunning scenery around Osmotherley, our students have been putting their training into practice while developing the resilience, confidence, and leadership needed for a successful Gold expedition. Good luck to the team as they continue their preparations.

We were incredibly proud of our pupils from English Martyrs who had the privilege of leading the music for the Diocesan Lay Chaplain Recommissioning Mass last Thursday.

It was particularly special to be joined by pupils from St John’s Catholic School, Bishop Auckland, who joined our choir in leading the music for this important celebration of faith and service.

The Mass was presided over by Bishop Stephen, and we give thanks for his continued ministry and spiritual leadership, as well as for the faithful ministry of the priests who serve communities across our Diocese.

What a wonderful opportunity for our young people to share their God-given gifts, serve the Church and experience first-hand what it means to belong to something greater than ourselves.

Together, we were proud to shine a light on our shared mission as a Trust and to celebrate our place within the wider family of the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle.
