Who we’re looking for:
🐻NURSERY MANAGER🐻NURSERY PRACTITIONERS

Nursery Manager:
* Full time position
* Must have 2 years experience in a leadership role
* Level 3 childcare qualification
* Strong early years knowledge

Nursery Practioners:
* Both full and part time roles available
* Level 2 or level 3 childcare qualification

Applications close on the 16th of October and interviews are to follow from the 19th of October.

What to expect at The Cubhouse🐻🌱

Outdoor learning and play are a central part of the nursery day for our little cubs.

What our days look like:
🌳 Exploring the outdoors, nature, plants, bugs, mud and wildlife
🪵 Creating things and playing with natural materials
🏃Developing physical skills
🎨 Getting creative
🌦️ Exploring the outdoors in all types of weather

A large part of their day will be spent outdoors, but this doesn’t mean we won’t be enjoying time indoors too!

It's not simply jumping in muddy puddles all day. We’ll use outdoor experiences to support areas such as:
🌱Communication
🌱Physical development
🌱Maths
🌱Understanding the world
🌱Social & emotional development

We’re moving home, into The Cubhouse🐻

A place where little ones can learn, play, explore and grow, surrounded by nature and endless adventures🍂🪵

What started off as a small home setting is growing into a beautiful outdoor nursery, where we’ll have more space to explore and make memories.

We can’t wait to share more with you, but for now, here’s our brand new look.

We hope you love it as much as we do, and we can’t wait to start welcoming our little cubs into their new home away from home🤎

Fridays visit to the farm 🐔🐷🐐🚜
Tractor rides for us all, lots of animal feeding and settling into our new routines and enjoying our wonderful friendships.

Last Fridays adventure to Preston park . We played with bubbles, used our fine motor skills for some berry crafts, played in the indoor train play area and walked through the forest together. Always a lovely way to round off the week 🌲🐻🫧🚂

We had a wonderfully settled group this morning after returning from summer and having newbies so no reason for us to stay in for settling - off to the farm we go!

We were very lucky to see one day old bunnies 🐰 A beautiful moment for us all, including us adults getting to see baby bunnies so small.

We spent the rest of the day feeding animals, playing in the park on the swings and in the soft play then on route home for some well deserved naps.

Thursday & Fridays pool days 🍉☀️💦
It’s not often we have days in the house but it’s not worth the risk of babies overheating on full days out with limited shelter and a very hot van as our transport.
So we’ve spent this week using our garden space with our 3 paddling pools! We’ve had all the good summer snacks and days of playing in the pools with our friends.
We hit a little snag on Thursday with a big rip in our bouncy castle but waterproof tape to the rescue and all ready for Fridays cubs. What a way to end the week 🐻☀️
