DC-11 will promise the best innovative techno DJ's that have played not only nationwide but worldwide. Expect f**ked up crazy adventures on this night, keep an eye out for the evil clowns hanging around town. We have now been going for 2 years now and have packed m
any venues in this country and abroad, even appearing at festivals, tis exciting times for all of us at DC-11
To add to this we have just launched our sister night, Them "House" Daze, on New Years Eve 2011, instead of techno we played house from 1995-2005, and it went down amazing so expect more. REVIEW OF 2011 FOR DC-11
DC-11: presents EVIL CIRCUS has had their most exciting year yet in 2011, here is a quick write up to keep you updated as to who we are:
January seen us play our 1st international gig in Arinsal in Andorra, we packed Club Surf and had them screaming for more, this gig ended up being the last ever time A2D would play for us and it was the last set at DC-11 for our resident CoCo (Jacky Maughan), but it was a return for Mick Temple for us. This gig resulted in us gaining centre page glossy spread in Andorra’s biggest magazine. February was a tester for us where we hosted a Future Hero’s night where we seen Adam Mcloughlin (who now has This Way Up in Boro), CaRdIaC, Joely T, Coose (new resident at Krankhouse) and Chris Emmerson. This night @ The Pearl Bar went off it and all the boys played a blinder, resulting in 2 of them being asked to return for future dates. April was a big one for us, our residents were joined by one of this countries biggest female DJs, Rebekah. This gig even made a picture spread in the local paper and Rebekah certainly had us dancing, she enjoyed us that much she has been recommending us to other DJs ever since. Wish we had a smaller DJ set up for her as she could only just see over the table but they say good things come in small packages. May see DC-11 play their first festival at EW Fest in Durham, this turned out to be the unwrapping of our new residents in Steve Dickson and CaRdIaC who ended up keeping the legendary Bez from the Happy Mondays rocking in a field, also we asked Chris Emmerson to return with his twin Stewart to team up as the Emmerson Twins. June seen us host the famous Evil Kitchen at the Den in Newcastle where the same EW Fest line up played on the same bill as Jon Rundell (Carl Cox’s right hand man) and Chris Scott from the Happy Clappers, to say we surprised a few is an understatement. July seen us return to the Pearl Bar in Hartlepool and we welcomed Chris Ryan from Retro and Goodgreef alongside our residents they helped us have a crazy techno session which continued at the after party until the next morning (the less said about that the better)
September seen us welcome our friends in the club scene to our Pearl Bar home, Technologik from Durham. Joining our residents were Daniel Cameron, Michael Gardner, and also probably one of the best live sets any of us have ever seen came on this night from Michael Walker, I remember at one point nobody was even dancing as they all stopped jaws dropped and everyone just watched this master play games with his equipment. October was our 2nd birthday party which we turned into a mental Halloween party, the crowds came out to the Pearl Bar in their costumes and we gave our residents a rest where we welcomed Deaf By Dawn and The Emmerson Twins and man do these guys know how to play naughty techno with a twist, we all hurt the next Monday. This brought us into our regular New Years Eve party, but this one was all change, we showcased our new sister night, DC-11: presents Them “House” Daze. We will continue this concept into 2012 as on this night we hosted the leg end that is Mike Johnson (To the Manor Born) and he didn’t disappoint, we were proud of having the busiest night in town this night and Mike played a monster house set from the era 1995-2005, he was backed up by our residents CaRdIaC and Steve Dickson as well as a guest who played an old school vinyl house set, John Forster.
2012 we intend to keep you dancing and more change will be coming, watch this space...........

Back when we used have the DC11 parties I used to ask the DJs to sign the DJ Wall, I found it recently, some class names on this, one DJ is a very famous techno DJ now, one got kinda famous then dropped off the scene and another is sadly no longer with us

Check out the newest Disco mix put together by our LLIP Resident
If you know me you know I have been into house music since I was a kid, I have been going to Ibiza for 20 years now as well as visiting clubs all over the world to party.
I have also hosted my own club nights in many venues across the country, from my first venture called The Kennel Club to my successful club night called DC-11: presents Evil Circus. I have had a little break and had children in that time but I now feel like Hartlepool could do with a new night for people like myself.
I want to put on a night for an older more cultured clubbing crowd, somewhere we can listen to cool music by experienced DJs in a nice venue.
This is all I am going to say for now on the subject, this poster is a teaser to what I have planned. More updates to follow.
