This role would be perfect for you if you have a keen interest in current affairs, politics and comedy. Resilience Training for HOD'S

ScreenSkills are currently offering some free training to HOD's and Managers currently working in HETV and Film. They may also accept some candidates from Continuing Drama, if they can show experience in HETV and Film in their credits within the last 4 years.

This programme is aimed at building resilience on a personal and team level across departments, to support better working practices and healthier workplaces. The workshops will combine real life examples of issues and give practical tips, tools and techniques to build skills towards resilience and success. Recognising and acknowledging the pressures of the screen industry, course attendees will come away with renewed self-belief and an appreciation of why self-care and care of your team is crucial to achieving goals on production. The programme is 4 hours in length, delivered in 2 x 2 hour blocks to enable higher uptake.

You will cover:
How to look after yourself - Understanding personal wellbeing, managing stress and adapting routines for healthier action during productions.
How to manage expectations from your team - The workshop will provide a toolkit of resources to aid with managing expectations, both from within the team as well as dealing upwards and sideways effectively.
Ensuring a good work life balance - Effective techniques towards building a workplace environment conducive to good working practices.
Encouraging good working practice in your teams - Focus on the key elements of successful teams and what 'good' within the context of production means.

All training is delivered online via Zoom.
