💚 A Little Summer Pause 💚
After much thought, I've decided to take a short break from Develop and Discover until September.
This year marks the end of an incredible 8-year journey at Catcote Futures, a role and community that I have loved deeply. Alongside this, I am preparing to step into an exciting new chapter as a Training and Operations Manager, and with Develop and Discover running on Sundays, I've realised I've been working a six-day week for quite some time.
As much as I love every session, every family and every messy sensory tray, I also know the importance of practising what I preach. Regulation before expectation doesn't just apply to children – it applies to us as adults too.
The summer will give me time to rest, spend precious time with my family, and focus on finishing one chapter well before beginning another.
Develop and Discover isn't going anywhere. I already have lots of ideas and plans for September, and I can't wait to welcome everyone back refreshed and ready for more sensory fun, exploration and connection.
Thank you to every family who has trusted me with their precious little people. Your support means more than you know, and I look forward to seeing you all again in September.
Michelle 💚

Hi all, sorry, no sessions this Sunday. If you are booked on a session, you can message for a refund or carry the session over. My little girl has moved up in gymnastics, and I want to surprise her by showing up to her session. ❤️

What a day, what a team! ❤️
10 miles completed for our sponsored walk and every single step was worth it. 🥾
A huge thank you to everyone who walked, donated, supported, cheered us on and helped make today such a success. The money raised will go towards sensory equipment for our learners at Catcote futures, helping us create even more opportunities for exploration, regulation and fun.
My feet may never forgive me, but my heart is full. ❤️
Thank you all for your support! 🌟

Launching this Sunday

04/06/2026

I've had lots of messages asking whether I'd be running an Early Years Sensory Session, so I've decided to give it a try! 🌈💚
Starting this Sunday, Develop & Discover will be offering a brand new Early Years Sensory Session designed for babies, toddlers and preschool children.
As always, the session will be child-led, encouraging little ones to explore, create, discover and spark their imaginations through carefully planned sensory experiences in a calm, nurturing environment.
My SEND Sensory Session will continue to run afterwards, so there will be no changes for any of our existing families.
All the details can be found on the poster below, and spaces are limited to keep the environment relaxed and welcoming for everyone.
I can't wait to welcome some new little explorers! ✨
