We’ve just finished our Biology Paper 2 “Night Before” session, and what a fantastic session it was!

We’ve recapped the key topics, tackled exam-style questions, shared some last-minute tips, and hopefully settled a few nerves along the way.

Most importantly, our students are heading into tomorrow’s exam feeling prepared, confident, and ready to give it their best shot 💪

Now it’s time for a good night’s sleep, a decent breakfast, and to trust all the hard work that’s gone into preparing for this moment.

👋 Meet Laura – Founder of LC Private Tuition 👋

As we have lots of new followers I thought I would properly introduced myself!

My name is Laura, and I am the founder of LC Private Tuition. I have over 20 years of teaching experience, working in both mainstream education and alternative provision settings. Throughout my career, I have taught and supported students with a wide range of abilities, backgrounds, and learning needs.

🔬 Science is my specialist subject, and I teach Science and Maths up to GCSE level. Through LC Private Tuition, we also offer English, French, History, Primary Tuition, Functional Skills, and A-Level Physics through our team of qualified tutors.

🧠 One area I am particularly passionate about is supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). I have extensive experience working with students who may struggle in a traditional classroom environment, helping them develop confidence, independence, and strategies that enable them to succeed.

🎓 All of our tutors are qualified teachers, bringing both subject expertise and classroom experience to every lesson.

My teaching philosophy is simple: every child has the right to succeed. Sometimes students just need a different approach, a little more time, or a learning environment that allows them to ask questions and build confidence without fear of getting things wrong.

🎉🔬 Our third “Night Before” Science Revision Session was another huge success!

This evening, students joined us for an intensive Physics Paper 1 booster, revisiting key concepts, tackling exam-style questions, and fine-tuning their exam technique ahead of Tuesday’s exam.

The commitment and effort shown by our students has been fantastic, and it’s been great to see their confidence grow as we approach exam season.
