🧡 Keeping our school community safe

We’re pleased to let parents and carers know that we now have an Anaphylaxis Kit on site.

The kit contains four adrenaline auto-injectors and provides an additional emergency resource for pupils, staff or visitors experiencing a suspected anaphylactic reaction — including those without a diagnosed allergy.

Our staff have also received anaphylaxis awareness training to help ensure we can respond quickly in an emergency.

For children with a diagnosed allergy, please continue to provide their prescribed adrenaline auto-injectors and let school know about any changes to their medical needs.

📢 **We’re Hiring – Teaching Assistant**

Cloughwood Academy is looking for a highly motivated and compassionate **Teaching Assistant** to join our dedicated team.

This is a rewarding pastoral role supporting pupils with **Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs**, with a focus on building positive relationships, supporting emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour.

We are looking for someone with:
✨ Strong behaviour management skills
✨ Excellent emotional intelligence and resilience
✨ A calm, patient and consistent approach
✨ A genuine passion for supporting young people
✨ The ability to build purposeful, trusting relationships

**📍 Cloughwood Academy, Northwich**
**🕐 37 hours per week | Term-time plus 5 days**
**💷 NJC Grade 6: £28,598–£31,022 FTE (£24,566–£26,649 actual salary)**
**📅 Start date: ASAP**

You’ll be joining a supportive specialist team that values staff development and uses trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches.
