Applied innovation & Interactive Design will guide our students to meet the basic theory of user interface design and use a lot of practical of softwares like or to make them become a primary UI designer.

The major of the University of Westminster is a new project for graduate students which integrates multiple subjects, combines creative concept, interactive technology, and commercializes the design centered by users. Its employment is very broad including

As the one of the 100 leading international schools in the world the University of Westminster school of & Design is equipped with most advanced multimedia devices. Quote a comment of British Systems on University of Westminster that “Since the requirements of interactive media industry on technological innovation application have become higher, University of Westminster ’s major would be the best choice for those who plan to work in digital media industry.” gave University of Westminster’s major very high evaluation and also provided huge support on its teaching of key subject, this is very rare in UK.

Separately had been keeping close communication with off-campus interactive media and game industry. It will invite professionals to open classes and organize students to do field visit. followed the “Coding marathon” culture and owned professional lab (EMS). Students have chance to participate in the designing and production of interactive digital media contents to realize its application on ipad and mobile devices, therefore to establish a whole new user experience through the interface. Most students can get the opportunity for short-term practice in the industry.

There’s no lack of commercially viable student’s work being approved by enterprises in the graduation exhibition every year.

It is an awesome opportunity to visit around the environment of IMP through our photos!

A big computer room for every IMPers is the best place to study in interactive field. Most of classes are held here and students could utilize plenty of software, such as Adobe, Unity and Principle, on computers for coursework. During the class, tutors give one by one tutorials about our work in progress!

With regard to the Interactive Media Practice course at the University of Westminster, in addition to the usual classroom content, there are many extracurricular activities held. The course leader will inform you of the time and place and how to participate by email. Most of the activities are free. This time the event lecturer is Tom Woodel, who is UX Lead at Saberr.com. The presentation is about UX Design, mainly discover how design shapes our online experiences. During our introductory workshop, explore the decision-making process that dictates how clients interact with decision-making process that dictates how users interact with all stripes have put out the call for UX talent. Plus:
 Learn what the world of UX design encompasses and why it matters.
 Touch on fundamental tools and techniques used by professional designers.
 Discover resources to continue learning about UX.
