Weald Rise Primary School Weald Rise Primary School is a two form entry primary school located in a quiet, residential area of Harrow Weald.

We are a two form entry Primary School in Harrow, which was formed from the amalgamation of two separate Infant and Junior Schools in April 2015. We moved into a brand new building and we are blessed with a range of facilities including a large field, music studios, changing rooms and a food tech room. We are all extremely proud of our school and committed to providing the very best possible education for all of our children. Weald Rise Primary is a school where children feel safe within a happy, stimulating and inclusive learning environment. Each child is encouraged to enjoy learning and developing a lively and enquiring mind as they strive to reach their full true potential in all aspects of school life.

As part of Walk to School Week this week, we had a special assembly where we discussed how walking to school can help our bodies, minds and the environment. Hip Hoppy the Hare, the super walker, came to inspire us to walk everyday. He also had some super dance moves 🤣

Last week year 6 accompanied reception on a school trip to Golders Hill Park. They were very mature and responsible whilst buddying up with their younger peers and accompanying them on public transport. Both year groups had lots of fun in the park and seeing the animals they had, which included: deers, donkeys, wallabies, chickens, kookaburras, lemurs and a cat.

Next week is walk to school week. Please make a conscious effort to walk, ride or scoot to school to help the environment and your health and well-being. The walking buses will be running again so please meet the teachers at one of the 3 locations at 8:30am. If pupils are in EYFS, parents will still need to walk with them on the walking bus for safety. Thank you and happy walking!

Yesterday Reception to Year 6 took part in the mini marathon. This was up to a 2 mile run or walk around the local area. We are so proud of our children and their families and we all had fun out in the sun. Thanks to all the parents who came and supported their children.
