On Tuesday morning Class 1 were treated to some very special visitors. The children were able to have an adult from home come in to share stories with them. Both the children and adults loved having the opportunity to share their favourite stories, as well as share some of the exciting learning they have been doing in class. It was fantastic to see the children enjoying the special time together and we look forward to hopefully having another session in the future.

Last Wednesday, Class 1 had an exciting visit to Bilton and Woodfield Community Library. We enjoyed putting on our high vis vests and walking across the site. The children were given a warm welcome before being treated to a couple of stories. They loved both stories and were all keen to join in and ask/answer questions. The children were then able to make their very own octopus! The session was finished by the children sharing stories from the library with each other. They absolutely loved their visit and can’t wait to return again this week!

Due to the ongoing circumstances we may need to cancel an event, however we will be keep in touch and aim to give as much notice as possible.
We will be asking all visitors to book into the class events and performances with the class teachers. All adults are asked to wear a mask when in school unless exempt.
Thank you for your understanding.

P@WS Secret Santa is back! It is one of our favourite activities to do. The children love choosing gifts to give to other people and take such care and pride in their choices. It really is a special thing to be a part of. We will be in school over three lunch breaks to support the children with their shopping.
The P@WS pop-up shop will be open on Monday 6th, Tuesday 7th and Thursday 9th December
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to hunt us down and we will do our very best to answer any queries.

Imagine our surprise when Woody was missing from his house this morning... we wondered where he could have got to...

There he was! Having a catch up with his friend, Olaf!

He is so happy to see his friend at C1's disco today and he hopes everyone in C2 and C3 had a fantastic time at the Pantomime. Woody cannot wait to hear all about it.

See you tomorrow!

Guess who is back?! Woody the Woodfield Elf! Keep an eye on our social media with your grown ups to see what he gets up to! There is one rule though, if you see him around school you must leave him alone. Everyone knows, Elves are very fragile and must not be touched. If he is out and about, he'll make his way back to his home in Mrs Tunney's office when he is ready to. Thank you.

Anti-Bullying Week - One Kind Word Displays - The sun has been beaming through onto our Anti-Bullying Week displays today. All this fantastic artwork and writing is up for our whole school to see and enjoy. Our EYFS and KS1 students made some odd socks, drew a picture of themselves and wrote some nice words about them and their friends.KS2 Students used the ICT suite to create some word graphics, choosing some special words to them, as well as some fantastic pieces of writing that are also on display.

Children In Need 2021
What a fantastic day we have all had, so many spotty and yellow outfits, from Batgirl to a Ghostbuster and everything in between...and of course some fantastically whacky face paints and hair colours!
We've all posted money to Children in Need via our very own Pudsey Bear! Pudsey will still be here on Monday for any more donations.
Have a fantastic weekend everyone!

Class 1 had a 'hoot'! Yesterday we were incredibly lucky to welcome Joe from Joe's Owl Encounters & Exotic Mobile Zoo and his amazing Owls into school. Class 1 had the opportunity to continue their learning about owls whilst seeing real owls in school. We were even lucky enough to hear a kookaburra laughing which the children really enjoyed!
You could say they were 'owl' ears for whole hour (sorry! 😁), all students from Nursery to Year 1 were asking fantastic questions and really engaging with Joe and his birds.
