‘It’s all about kindness’

Due to Valentine’s Day we introduce British Values through a variety of challenges and group tasks.

We started by going to the flower 🌹shop to pick some flowers, which were then used to create our customised and designed live cards.

Children were then extending their creativity while expressing their own ideas artistically.

Not only Valentine’s cards and pretty flowers but also turn-taking and caring for others took place in our setting.

Our Little Picassos and Little Einsteins also had their Halloween session alongside their parents and grandparents.

We went from Room on The Broom 🧙‍♀️to a Pumpkin experiment and a bit of potion making 🎃 all of this after having a scary fruity snack 👻

🎃Halloween Workshop🎃

In Tiny Thinkers, we introduce celebrations and traditions from cultures around the world so that children can have a open and respectful view towards them.

This week, we invited our parents from Little Vivaldis to take part in our Halloween workshop.

It was a great opportunity to combine home and nursery both of children's environments together.

Can you take the seed out? 🍎

In Tiny Thinkers, we always aim to introduce learning through real life skills and risky play. Our Little Picasso's have been working on their fine motor skills as well as hand-eye coordination. The challenge was based on trying to take the seeds out of the fruits by using little knives.

September has arrived and in Tiny Thinkers we have started our "All about Me" topic.

As every child is unique, it is essential that children learn about themselves. This topic help them get to know each other and create positive relationships among themselves.

On top of that, it also gives them the chance to express the way they see themselves as well as others, and help them build their self-confidence around their peers.

Our Little Einsteins are working on their school readiness.

As in Tiny Thinkers we promote the outdoor learning, they have been practising their mathematic skills by using the natural resources that they found in the Park.

It is time for our Little Einsteins to continue their learning journey in the big school. It has been such a fun adventure, full of special times and emotions.

🪴'Jack and The Beanstalk'🪴

This has been one of the most popular books this month, which led us to plant our little beans at Tiny Thinkers.

Planting and gardening with children brings a huge variety of benefits. Among some of them, it helps us introduce the understanding of growing and the changes in the nature us, by checking how our little seeds grow every day. At the same time, it encourages the children to be more independent while carrying out small tasks that keep our plants growing.

Let's move our learning to the park!

The nature brings us limitless resources to awaken our senses and creativity. In Tiny Thinkers we believe that the outdoor area is the ultimate enabling environment so that children can see and experience the real and natural world.

Children would benefit from freedom experienced outdoors and they will build their self-confidence and lead their own physical development in a natural environment.

Today we had our Easter workshop for our Little Vivaldis.

The Spring weather encouraged us to spend some time together in our outdoor area to enjoy some Easter crafts and messy play. 🐣

🧬🔬British Science Week 🔬🧬

Children are ready to explore the environment around them and show curiosity for facing new challenges and experiences.

Science in early childhood plays an important role to help and support this curiosity. It develops a better understanding of the environment and strengthen problem solving skills.
