My experience also includes working as a special needs TA for a number of years and am therefore happy to assist any parents whose children may require additional support provided i can facilitate their requirements. I aim to provide a happy and safe environment for your child as well as a setting which develops the full potential of your son or daughter: in line with the Early Year Stages
After school activities will consist of art and crafts, outside play visits to the library ect....... I will discuss with you the interests of your child
to ensure we provide the correct activity for them. Since I am just beginning my business i will be able to offer flexibility and a unique provision for your child centred on a holistic approach aimed at your child`s well being and enjoyment whilst in my care. My Experience
My experience includes, teaching assistant for main stream and special needs over a period of 8 years, age range- nursery to year 11. As a mother of eight children i understand that all children have individual requirements. However, all children have one thing in common, that of feeling loved and special to those around them. A environment of patience, tolerance and understanding is paramount to the development of children especially the early years. Children thrive in a environment where they are allowed to make mistakes and learn from them. Where others accept them for who they are including their faults. Children thrive where they are forgiven and not judged, and what they are compared to is their own unique self. If a child is criticised they learn to judge and criticise others. My Qualifications
I have a Foundation Degree in Intergrated Practice for Children and Young people - acquired 2012. This degree centered around the needs of children and young people within a educational and community environment, using a holistic approach. Safeguarding of children and young people was a core module as well as equality and diversity. I have a additional degree in Supporting Families within the community.
