Great day at Almscliff with the Landers. Some classics ticked and some nice climbing by the kids too.
An awesome UV night last night. 3rd on the night for me, but 2nd overall for the series in the Advanced male category. pupils did well again sweeping up podium places. We'll all be back in November.

Deep snow and emergency shelters in Calderdale. What else do you do when school is closed.
A great set for rd 4 at the climbing hangar in Liverpool last night. Seth McDonald was too strong and took the win, but I managed to get joint 2nd despite dropping some key flash points.
It is really tight for the overall with 1 round left. Hopefully I can keep 2nd spot, or maybe better if Seth has a poor round.

Hard problems in the 3rd round of the Climbing Hangar winter bouldering series last night. The final 5 problems in the Advanced category stumped pretty much everyone, so it came down to who flashed the most early on.
A tight round meant that myself and 2 others finish on the top spot, keeping the series really tight overall.
2 more rounds to go.
Hard work this morning. Few 7b+'s, including a battle up the Sheriff.
The last Grade IV drop, run on sight as not really possible to inspect.

Top afternoon paddling a forgotten Yorkshire gem. Quality grade V and read and run grade IV. I've spent nearly 40 hours in the gorge clearing trees etc. Worth it to finally run it today .
