Help Your Teen Excel in English with Expert Tutoring from Heads Up ⬆️

As parents, we all want to support our children in reaching their full potential, especially when it comes to important subjects like English. If your 11-16 year old is struggling with writing, comprehension, or exam preparation, tailored tutoring could be the key to unlocking their confidence and success.

I am a specialist English tutor and PGCE (Distinction) qualified Head of English with experience of helping students achieve their best. With personalised lessons that focus on your child's unique needs, we aim to build both their skills and their love of the subject.

I spent an hour this morning with a lovely year 11 student. They need a boost ahead of GCSEs in the summer. It was our first session together but I can already see that the biggest challenge is Improving their confidence. When young people don’t get the right support in the classroom their confidence in their ability can suffer. Schools have too many pupils and too few teachers for everyone to get the support they need to reach their academic potential.
If your child or young person needs the right support in English, I’m here to help.

Are you home educating and would like some support for your child in English? I offer tutoring for secondary age children. The sessions can be tailored to your needs and do not need to follow the national curriculum. If your child has an area of special interest, I can use this to create resources that will engage them whilst helping them to learn. Send me a message if you want to know more.
