Last week we celebrated Rosedene Hemlington's 20th birthday with a party in their newly refurbished forest school area! 🥳🌳

It was a wonderful day celebrating with the children, families and staff, marking 20 years of delivering outstanding early years education, enriching experience and childcare to hundreds of children at Rosedene Hemlington.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate with us, and to all those who have been a part of our journey over the last 20 years. 💚

We've been making the most of the beautiful sunshine this week and adapting our days at nursery to keep everyone safe, cool and happy in the warm weather ☀️💦

The children have enjoyed plenty of fun exploring the outdoors and cooling off with water play activities throughout the week. These experiences have supported their sensory exploration, helped develop fine motor skills and encouraged imaginative play with their friends.

It's been wonderful to see so much curiosity, confidence and laughter as the children learn through play and enjoy the summer sunshine together🌞💙

Today we are proud to celebrate not one, but two very special anniversaries— Holly and Kelly both marking 20 outstanding years with Rosedene! 💐

For two decades, Kelly and Holly have each brought dedication, kindness and passion to their roles, making a lasting difference to the lives of so many children, families and colleagues. Their warmth, experience and unwavering commitment have helped create the nurturing, supportive environment we are so proud of across our nurseries.

We are incredibly grateful for their loyalty, hard work and the difference they make to our families and their teams every day. Rosedene simply wouldn’t be the same without them 🌿

We’re hiring – Summer holiday club cover ☀️

We're looking for friendly, enthusiastic and dependable staff to provide cover at our Summer Holiday Club at our Rosedene Stokesley Forest School nursery this summer.

📅 Dates: 1st July - 28th August
🕗 Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
👧 Age group: Children aged 5+

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who enjoys working with children and wants to be part of a fun, supportive and engaging holiday club environment. You'll help create exciting activities, support children's play, curiosity and development and ensure they have a safe and enjoyable summer experience.

Whether you're an experienced childcare professional, a teaching assistant or someone with relevant experience working with children, we'd love to hear from you.

Safety starts small 🦺

Last week, our nurseries proudly took part in Child Safety Week. Throughout the week, the children explored a range of important safety topics through play, discussions, stories and practical activities. From learning how to stay safe near roads and around fire, to understanding the importance of handwashing and keeping germs away, the children showed fantastic engagement and enthusiasm.

We are so proud of the confidence and awareness they developed while learning valuable life skills in a fun and meaningful way.

Today we got into the football spirit by proudly showing our support for Middlesbrough FC ahead of tomorrow's big final at Wembley!
