A 'Strong' first Ofsted result for Rosedene Redcar! 🌟🎉👏🏻

We are beyond proud to share that Rosedene Redcar has been recognised as Strong across five key areas of Ofsted's new inspection framework, recognising the quality of our achievement, children's welfare and wellbeing, curriculum and teaching, inclusion and leadership and governance.

After only being open for a year, this result is a true testament to the passion, dedication, and love that goes into the nursery every single day.

We are so proud that Ofsted recognised the excellent progress children are making, the quality of teaching and the strength of the support provided by the team.

A huge thank you to our team and wonderful families for being such a special part of our Rosedene community💙

Rosedene Forest School Week 🌿🐌🐛🍂🕷️

The children have had a wonderfully busy week embracing everything the outdoors has to offer. From woodland walks, blackberry picking and natural painting to investigating worms, caring for minibeasts, composting, making pumpkin soup and discovering the wonders of autumn, every day has been filled with adventure and hands-on learning.

We believe some of the richest learning opportunities happen outdoors, which is why Forest School is an integral part of life at Rosedene. Through exploring natural environments and following their curiosity, children develop confidence, resilience and a lifelong love learning🌳💚

We can't quite believe the first month of term is almost over!

It has been a wonderful start across all of our nurseries, and we've loved watching the children settle into their routines with growing confidence, curiosity and lots of happy smiles.

From outdoor adventures and creative play to building, exploring, sharing and discovering new interests, every day has been filled with opportunities to learn, grow and thrive through child-led learning. By following the children's interests, ideas and natural curiosity we can support their development in a way that feels fun, engaging and unique to every child.

Thank you to all of our families for being part of such a fantastic start to the term. We can't wait to see what the coming months bring at Rosedene! 🌱✨💚

Rosedene Stokesley Forest School is 1! 🥳🌿

This week marks 1 year since we opened the doors at Rosedene Stokesley.

To celebrate this milestone, we brought together our children, families and team for Rosedene Fest, a mini festival in the Forest School garden!

With festival wristbands, activity cards to collect stamps, face painting, an ice cream van and even some very special visiting goats, there was plenty to explore, enjoy and discover!

A huge thank you to all of our families for your continued support and for making the event so special; It truly was a day to remember💚

We've been making the most of the beautiful sunshine this week and adapting our days at nursery to keep everyone safe, cool and happy in the warm weather ☀️💦

The children have enjoyed plenty of fun exploring the outdoors and cooling off with water play activities throughout the week. These experiences have supported their sensory exploration, helped develop fine motor skills and encouraged imaginative play with their friends.

It's been wonderful to see so much curiosity, confidence and laughter as the children learn through play and enjoy the summer sunshine together🌞💙
