What a wonderful day in the village for Peaslake Open Gardens yesterday!

The months of preparations behind the scenes and hard work by garden owners paid off, and we welcomed hundreds of visitors to this annual fundraiser for Peaslake Schools Trust. After a very wet and windy lead up to the big day, thankfully the sun was shining!

Peaslake Village Hall was buzzing with people enjoying the delicious homemade cakes, cream teas, BBQ, and a few glasses of Pimm's whilst listening to the amazing Mike Wilson Jazz Trio.

The successful home produce and plant sale was kindly run by volunteers from the Peaslake Community Garden & Orchard.

A huge thank you to everyone involved - we couldn’t do it without you!

🌸🍓Only 2 days to go until Peaslake Open Gardens 2026! 🍓🌸

Please join us this Sunday 7 June 12-4.30pm to look around the 9 beautiful gardens. And then enjoy the BBQ, cakes, cream teas, Pimm’s, plant and jam sale, live jazz music and children’s activities at Peaslake Village Hall.

This year St Mark’s Church will also be putting on a children’s craft activity in their garden so make sure to pop in to see them too on your walk around the village.

A few final details and reminders below:

🎟️Tickets will be on sale from our Peaslake Village Hall base on Sunday. Before then you can get them at Peaslake Village Stores.

🅿️ Parking is in a designated field on Pond Lane. Signs will be up in the village directing you there. A few disabled parking spaces will be available in the Pond Lane village car park.
Please avoid parking at the individual gardens.

🐕 No dogs (other than assistance dogs) are permitted in the gardens or Peaslake Village Hall.

Peaslake Open Gardens on Sunday 7 June is part of the annual calendar of fundraising events organised by parents of children at our wonderful village school and nursery Peaslake Free School & Nursery. It truly is a "Little School in the Woods" and we are so lucky to have it in our village.

We are very thankful for the garden owners who work hard preparing their beautiful gardens and to the local businesses and visitors whose support helps make a real difference to our school and nursery community. The funds raised keep the classrooms inspiring and well-resourced.

If you are interested in seeing what a warm and nurturing environment Peaslake Free School & Nursery is for children to learn, grow and thrive in there is a Stay & Play Session planned for Saturday 13 June (details in attached photo).
