Year 6 have been busy bringing their Young Enterprise ideas to life — designing products, getting creative and putting real thought into their marketing and pricing strategies.

Their big sale is just around the corner, so do come along on Friday 26th June after Celebration Assembly to support them and help raise as much money as possible for a very good cause 💫

Year 6 Science Masters in action! 🔬✨

Our young scientists have been investigating how flame colour impacts the results of flame tests. Working carefully and scientifically, they tested a variety of chemicals in flames of different temperatures, observing the vibrant reactions produced by each substance.

Making predictions, recording observations and drawing conclusions, pupils showed excellent practical skills while exploring chemical reactions and bringing their scientific understanding to life

✨ A special week of togetherness is ahead at Longacre.

We’ll be welcoming a visiting poet, gathering for our Whole School Picture Day, and sending several year groups off on exciting adventures — from Drusillas to Little Street to stepping back in time for Year 4’s Tudor Day.

Our swimmers will be making a splash, the Cycling Bus and Walking Bus will keep everyone moving, and the week rounds off with something truly special: our final Longacre Sports Day. Families are invited to join us on the field for a joyful day of races, cheering, picnics and memories we’ll treasure.

A week full of energy, community and moments to hold onto. 💙
