📣 Funding Success 🎉
We are thrilled to announce, thanks to National Lottery Good Causes , we have been awarded Awards for All funding for Dance Mama Moves Surrey 2026/27.
This will enable us to build on the important work that we have been delivering in partnership with Surrey Sports Park, University of Surrey of Surrey from September 2026.
We will continue delivering FREE access our specialist perinatal movement and wellbeing programme, currently supporting 100+ perinatal women in .

This funding will enable a further 36 week delivery period September 2026 - July 2027 to the current year.
Our programme offers four free, weekly, in person classes (including babies),
🧘♀️ Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga Atma Alchemy ),
💃🏻 Postnatal Dance Laura Harvey Todd

🏊🏽♂️ free swimming for expectant mothers.
Sessions include social time with refreshments, creating space for peer connection, informal support and signposting.
We help vulnerable women to access specialist support early, reducing barriers and improving wellbeing across the perinatal period.
“Tension, strain and previous injuries cropped up postnatally, but Dance Mama has kept me moving in a positive way accounting for all of these so I can rebuild my physical strength safely.” - participant

Finally, Solomon Karmegam joins our Board, who has brilliantly given an interview in time for

Solomon Karmegam is a senior workforce transformation leader and the Director of Workforce Management at ISS UK & Ireland, where he leads large-scale change programmes that drive operational efficiency, governance, and people capability across complex service environments.
Solomon is also the founder of Solomon , a grassroots dance organisation established to nurture talent, discipline, and creativity. Through both his professional and dance leadership journeys, Solomon is passionate about inclusion, mentoring, and enabling individuals and communities to thrive through structure, purpose, and opportunity.
