Year 1 have had a busy morning harvesting the potatoes that they have grown. They learnt about how to grow potatoes and how to tell if they are ready to harvest. The children then washed the potatoes ready to make potato salad later in the week. π₯π π₯

You may have noticed the new addition to the fence at the The Coombes entrance to school. The PTFA kindly funded a new notice board so we can share with families upcoming events and key information. It also means our notices stop getting soggy in the British weather! β
A big thank you to the PTFA, we think the new notice board looks fantastic! π

We were joined by Reverend William in our collective worship on Monday. We have been learning about Jesusβ Parables this half term and Rev. William shared the Parable of the Mustard Seed, which is a short, powerful story used by Jesus to describe the Kingdom of God. It compares the Kingdom to a tiny seed that grows into a massive tree, illustrating how small beginnings yield extraordinary results. π±π³
