Meet Felicity 👋

Felicity recently completed her GCSEs, including Maths and Further Maths, and is looking forward to studying A-Levels at the prestigious Surrey Maths School 🎓

Her favourite area of maths is Trigonometry because triangles are the shape she finds most fascinating! 📐🔺

When she's not at Mathnasium, you'll usually find her rowing 🚣 or hanging out with her friends 😊

If Felicity ever appeared on Mastermind, her specialist subject would probably be facts from The Office 📺

And her hidden talent? She can do a pretty impressive handstand! 🤸

Felicity loves helping students grow in confidence and showing them that maths can be both fun and rewarding.

Our students have been getting creative in our Summer STEAM sessions, taking on the challenge of building the tallest, most stable tower they can, using spaghetti and marshmallows. 🍝🏗️

They experimented with shapes, angles and different support systems, putting geometry and design into practice — with plenty of trial and error (and a few collapsing towers!) along the way. 📐

Meet Jess 👋

Our Assistant Centre Manager, Jess, is a qualified engineer and mathematics teacher who loves showing students how maths works in the real world 🎓

Her favourite area of maths is Geometry because she loves how simple shapes can create incredible patterns and solve real-world problems 📐✨

When she's not at Mathnasium, you'll usually find her spending time with her niece, looking after her tropical fish tank 🐠, or enjoying Thai food 🌶️🍜

And her hidden talent? She's a skilled juggler! 🤹

Jess loves helping students discover that maths isn't just something you learn in the classroom—it's a skill you use every day.

Meet Ayaan 👋

Ayaan recently completed A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Politics at RGS Guildford, and is hoping to study Physics and Philosophy at university 🎓

His favourite area of maths is Mechanics because it brings maths and physics together to solve real-world problems 🚀📐

When he's not teaching, you'll usually find him playing guitar 🎸, practising long-range target shooting 🎯, or watching (and making!) films 🎬

If Ayaan ever appeared on Mastermind, his specialist subject would be all things science and maths 🧠

And his hidden talent? He can do the moonwalk... admittedly, only mediocrely! 🕺😂

Ayaan enjoys helping students build confidence in maths by breaking problems down into manageable steps and making challenging concepts easier to understand.
