Kinda chic to keep learning π
Being a good practitioner isnβt about having every answer ready.
Itβs knowing where your scope ends, staying curious longer than is comfortable, and being willing to update what you thought you knew.
Which oneβs yours? π€π

We're always grateful to receive feedback after our events, particularly when attendees take the time to reflect so thoughtfully on their experience.
Thank you to Leandros Taliotis for sharing these reflections following our recent masterclass with Dr Jenevora Williams and Maurice Goodwin.
It was a pleasure to bring together practitioners from different backgrounds for a day of discussion, learning and shared perspectives.

What does it really mean to take a biopsychosocial approach to voice?
At our recent Becoming Biopsychosocial weekend, we explored how looking beyond the voice alone can help us better understand and support the people we work with.
From coaching skills with Nicki Kennedy to practical discussions and shared reflections throughout the weekend, we developed new perspectives and practical tools to support our work with clients.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. It was a pleasure to spend the weekend exploring these ideas alongside such a thoughtful community of voice professionals.

A fascinating, fun, foundational and forward-looking day together.
The other day, the VHE team spent the day with our colleague Nicki Kennedy, drawing on her coaching expertise as she took us through games, visualisations, thoughtful questions, honest reflections and a few real watershed moments.
We're already a well-functioning team, so there was no repair work to do. Instead, the focus was on recognising our strengths and gently nudging us towards using them even more effectively, once we really understand what they are.
We also took time to acknowledge everyone who has been part of Vocal Health Education over the years, alongside the wider community of tutors and colleagues who continue to contribute to our work.
It was a valuable opportunity to reflect on our strengths, our shared work and the many people who contribute to the VHE community, as well as the importance of taking time to reconnect as a team.
